When was the last time you and your family had an all-out blast of a good time, without spending a fortune, and doing it helped a dozen terrific social causes in your community? We couldn’t remember anything like that in this area, so we invented “Cirque du Sonora,” the Circus with a Purpose.
The resulting experience will be one of the most unique, fun-filled- and happy events to be held in the area ever. Over a dozen Nonprofits will each have game booths, where you can win prizes, and you support the groups by playing.
And there will be entertainment. Oh boy will there be entertainment! Local circus performers will be on hand as well as nationally known stars from Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Jugglers, Acrobats, Magicians, Clowns, Face-painters, Balloon Sculptors, Dancers, and Musicians.
Very special musicians, indeed. The headline performance will be a set by Alma Melodiosa (now known as Alma) bringing their homegrown brand of latin/rock and reggae to our stage. In addition, guitarist Nick Lefler will be performing a solo act that infuses electronics into his classical style in a way that will enthrall you.
What about activities for the youngest among us? How about a waterslide, a bounce-house, and a crafts booth where the new nonprofit “Revamp” recycles everyday materials into arts projects, helping kids grow and keeping excess junk out of our landfills.
It certainly promises to be a memorable day and one you shouldn’t miss. Tickets aren’t needed, it’s open free to the public. That includes parking. Unbelievable? It’s magic! It’s Cirque du Sonora!

From the West - Take Highway 108 to Standard Road. Turn right on Standard Road and then right on mono Way to Sonora Subaru.
